I’ve got some pretty awesome friends. Today I’m doing a roundup of the different things my peeps are doing.
Since y’all love SHOES so much let me direct you over to Krysten’s blog. She’s giving away a pair of Mizunos this week with her Happy Heart Project.
This afternoon I’m heading over to my friend Jess’s house to record a beauty vlog with her. She asked her viewers of her YouTube channel to submit beauty questions (makeup, skin, hair). If you have any beauty questions leave em below and we’ll try to incorporate them into our Q and A.
Lastly, a little blurb from my friend Dani:
Hello! My name is Dani and I am a Holistic Nutritionist in Toronto. For many years I have experienced depression, anxiety and seasonal affective disorder and had no idea how I could help myself. It was through diet and lifestyle changes that I was able to improve my life, my emotional health and my overall sense of well-being.
In Canada, the winter season is long and cold and can impact our health in a negative way such as winter blues and seasonal affective disorder. In my experience I have learned that diet is one tool we can use to help us feel better and while diet alone may not be enough, it certain can help us feel better. On Saturday, March 2nd I am hosting a workshop, “Winter Food, Happy Mood” at Six Degrees Community Acupuncture. The focus of this workshop will be on the nutrients we need to improve our mental health and foods we can eat to help us do this. You will receive plenty of information as well as a goodie bag with samples of some of my favourite products!
Winter Food, Happy Mood
- Saturday March 2nd 1:30-3:00
- At Six Degrees Community Acupuncture (204 Spadina Ave 2nd Floor)
