Football fan? Me neither. I used to play rugby when I was in high school and our coach used to tell us that football players were wussy because they wear helmets. The joke’s probably on me because I’ve had many concussions. But not liking football is no reason to miss a good party. Brad and I hosted our friends (most of whom also aren’t so in with the pig skin) for a good ol Superbowl party jam.
Obviously it’s too late for you to make these for your Superbowl extravaganza but please do have a party soon and make these dishes. The main course was my mexican casserole.
It’s delicious! I also tried a version of a homemade onion dip that I found on a Huffington Post article titled: Superbowl Party Food: What Nutritionists Serve to Keep Calories in Check. The recipe calls for quite a bit of onion, I used much less and added a couple tablespoons of nutritional yeast.
It was also too late for these recipes I found on Tone It Up but they sound delish too so I’m passing them along.
There are so many times during the year that I have to pass up time with my friends in lieu of studying. Last night was a great time and I’m glad we got to host our little party before my midterms start. Yes they’re starting. The study plan began last week and the first midterm is a week from today. AAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BUT I must spend tonight with YOU GUYS!!!!!! One month down in the year, 11 more to go. What goals do you have?
