I called Brad earlier today and he said he was writing me a post. I thought that meant guest post (he sometimes likes to write for y’all.)
Nope. Apparently it meant he was ghost writing for me. Here it is:
I’m Morgan the robot, I can put my head back on, you cant, so stay safe! I’m almost back in the swing of things. Speaking of swing…remember when I got hit in the head with a freezer door (Brad).
With the week starting out with a head and neck injury, the end of the week is looking a lot more promising. Aside from being completely couch ridden for the first day, I’ve bounced back quite well. At the advice from my doctor however, I must keep my physical activity low for another week still just to make sure everything has it’s time to heal.
The hardest part, is walking by that shiny new bike of mine (still un-named) and not being able to start time trials around the neighborhood. I’ve been keeping active though, with all the running around with my new course schedule and my new job. I’ve been using my step counter, and some days I even remember to re-set it before taking off .
Tonight I’m meeting up with Brad at the mall to try and pick up a couple new shirts, and then I’m off to Robyn’s place for the evening of food and drink. See …sounds much better already!
Yup. That’s pretty much all true.
And in other news – I didn’t gain any weight this week. That might be a miracle with the whole not exercising and possibly feeling sorry for myself via a bag of chips (and then pizza, and then MORE chips. Shhhhhhh!)
