Can I Keep It Up?

First day of school is in the books ladies and gentlemen.  Everything went as planned yesterday.

I actually got out of bed with Brad yesterday morning and went out on an early morning workout.  It was a run/walk combo.  My plan for cardio workouts right now is:

  • active stretching
  • running drills
  • 5k run/walk

It’s always great starting the day with a workout.  I love the light in the morning :)

After the run I went full force into my day with work and meetings and my first class.

AND I even went to bed before 11pm.  Gee whiz, I could get used to this.  Can I keep it up?

What do you like best about working out in the morning?

Ah, yes, the morning light is beautiful :) I like how morning workouts wake me up! And if I rock it, then I feel great the rest of the day

  2. It honestly sets the tone for the entire day. I get the motivation and high from working out in the morning, I feel I can tackle anything! It also relieves any pressure should anything come up that I can’t fit a workout in later on. Such a great feeling of accomplishment, I love it! It’s also quiet :)

  3. I love morning workouts, I like being able to unwind at night and not stress about getting a workout it & spending time with the family.

Nothing like starting off your day with a morning sweat :)

I love working out in the morning, it sucks waking up, but once you are done…wow, there is nothing better than knowing you checked off a big part of your to-do list. Of course Rollin makes fun of me and calls me old because I can’t stay up past a certain time now. Always headed to bed early to be rested for my morning workout. :)

  6. Bronwyn says:

I love working out in the morning cause it wakes me up. And I don’t have to worry about it after work. Plus it starts me off with that feeling of being accomplished.

  7. I love my morning workouts. I’d much rather get it done at the beginning of the day, so I don’t have to think about it the rest of the day.

  8. Morning workouts, for me, mean it is done and that’s one less thing I have to think about after work :D

  9. I’ve never been a morning person in general, and exercising in the morning seems like a double hurdle.

Congrats though, I have a lot of respect for people who can do it!
