Yup still busy. Does that ever change? I’m trying, I’m trying. I kind of thrive off of the pressure but I’m quite tired. And there’s a slight chance that Brad and I are getting a cold.
But enough of that. This week there has been a TONNE of silver linings in my crazy life. Let’s bullet list, shall we?
- This morning I found my pedometer. YAHOO! I’m so excited about this. It’s been missing for two weeks. Back to counting. Ten thousand here I come
- I got my grades for the semester. Finance = A. Accounting = A. Stats = B+. (My finance grade was bell curved up and my accounting grade was bell curved down. I guess that’s some fair karma isn’t it.)
- Pita Break surprised me with a super delicious delivery of their pitas and One Buns.
- AND…….. drum roll this for me …………………………
A NEW BIKE!!!!!!!!
I won this bike from Raleigh and The Ride For Heart back in May and I finally got it this week. It’s my first road bike. I haven’t been on it yet. We walked it home from the bike shop. I’m going to wait for a quiet morning to take it for a spin so I can get used to it.
And last but not least – vacation 
Today is our last day of work before a mini vacation. Brad and I are off from Friday until Wednesday. It’s the only block of real vacation time (i.e. there’s no homework) we’ve had this year. We’re very excited!

Awesome possum!! Love the new bike! My week has been super busy too. But, two silver linings:
1) I won $200 at the CNE casino and bought myself a new wacom tablet and craft business book (YAY!!)
2) My friends Brad and Morgan are going to join me for a swim on Friday afternoon at a public pool (ehhhh? What do you think???)

Well I started a new job, in a new town, far away from anywhere I’ve ever lived. Silver lining? Steady income, and ADVENTURE!!
Last weekend I was on a bike for the first time in at least a year…and my first time ever on a road bike! I’m thinking that I want to invest in one now, they’re amazing.
