I Ate Like A King

Like I mentioned yesterday, I was getting my run video taped at physical therapy.  My doctor is going to look at the footage over the week and we’ll talk more about the results at my next appointment.  But he saw some significant problems right away.

Over the next week I have some pelvis position-ing exercises to do.  I’m supposed to teach myself where my neutral pelvis position is.  The exercises also strengthen the small muscles in my hips and legs.  The small muscles help with proper form and injury prevention.

Here’s a quick instagram photo of my physical therapy clinic.

When I got home from the doctor yesterday I was starving.  I’ve got some leftovers from the weekend to use up.

Here was lunch:

I had two little cherry tomatoes in my salad from the garden.  That’s all that’s ready right now but there’s going to be a bunch of tomatoes soon.  Hooray :)

Dinner:

Today’s meals won’t be so King-like since I’ll be at school all day.  (Gosh darn Tuesdays!)

What do you cook when you cook for one?

Have you ever had your run analyzed?

  1. Tuesdays are my busiest days, too! Away from home all day long – with quick meals on-the-go!

  2. I will be interested to hear all about your run assessment!! You PT studio looks amazing!

During the week I cook mainly for myself. So if it’s a busy week the menu is eggs, salads, and sandwiches everday. If I’m feeling fancy I’ll try to make one large dish at the beginning of the week and streeeeetch it out as many days as I can…lol #singlepeopleproblems

  4. I’ve never had my run analysed – it would probably be a good idea though, I have to wear a sleeve on my left knee when I run because otherwise it starts aching.

Usual meal for 1: eggs or a grilled cheese sandwich. Easy and tasty.
