I’m back from another weekend at the cottage.  This time was a little different.  The cottage belongs to Brad’s dad and Brad and I hosted my entire family on my dad’s side.  There were a few people missing, but the total was thirty people I think.

Even though it was a wee bit stressful getting everything organized, everything went off perfectly and it was a wonderful weekend.  Sorry no pics yet because Brad went to visit his mom and brother last night and he was the photographer last weekend.

Every time we get to the cottage it’s like setting a reset button.  I woke up this morning ready for my week.  (And WHAT a week’s going to be … exams and two final assignments are due within the next nine days.)

I’ve been skipping my lemon water lately because it’s been so hot, but this morning I wanted to get back to my regular routine.

My hot lemon water is like primer for the day.

Let’s go!

Today I get to work on running at my physical therapy appointment.  I’ve been waiting a very long time for this.  I can’t wait to tell you guys all about it.

Is there a place that pushes your reset button?  Is there something you do that refocuses your plans?

  1. I totally agree – a cottage weekend is SO relaxing. I love totally disconnecting with the world and being in the moment. Good luck on all of your exams/tests!

  2. Yes- good luck with your school work! You should have an icy water with lemon on summer days… sooo refreshing!!
