Yesterday Brad and I went downtown to hangout for the afternoon. We had two things in mind: the Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition and the 10,000 Tastes vegetarian festival.
One event was for Brad and one event was for me.
I think we know which one was for me.
Free veggie burgers?!?!?! I was ecstatic. They were from Gardein. Pretty darn good
Obviously I’m an advocate of plant based eating so I love festivals like this. However, it was all packaged food brands that were hosting and giving out free samples. I don’t exactly think it’s the best way to introduce plant based eating to people. But it’s a start. And I wasn’t complaining about my free veggie burger and almond milk was I?
This morning I’ve gotten up early and am watching Breakfast at Wimbledon. I’m definitely rooting for Murray. If he wins England will go CRAZY!!!!!
Enjoy your Sunday y’all.

Totally yummm! I’m not a huge fan of meatless burgers, but wow that does look good! I’ve actually been thinking of planning a trip to Toronto soon! Do you have any recommendations of places I must see? I’ve never been!
Note to self: Drive up to Toronto to attend this festival next year. I can’t say no to a veggie burger, especially a free one
Free is good, but totally agree that free and fresh from the earth might have helped more people open up
and Im SOOO LOOKING TO MOVE (allergies) people rave about Toronto.
hmmm
LOVE Gardein! I am just starting to see it in grocery freezers here (northern Virginia). The mandarin orange crispy chick’n is awesome in stirfry.
