Hmmmmm something is different this morning. Something is very different.
Oh yeah … I DON’T HAVE A MIDTERM TO STUDY FOR!!!!
Ah!!!!!!!!!!! Pop the champagne, shot gun a beer. :P
Also Wimbledon starts this morning. That almost deserves the same reaction (almost, but I’ll spare you anymore capitals, exclamation points, and smileys with their tongue out.)
The day is my oyster. Wait a second, what’s the vegetarian version of that?
I’m heading to physical therapy soon just like every Monday morning. My treatment is only once per week now. Then I have two days of doing my exercises at home or the gym. I continue to be the perfect patient. I’ve been working very hard at my strengthening during my at home workouts. Usually when I get to exam time I throw my workouts out the window as each exam day approaches. But not this time! Brad even went through my lower body workout last week.
It was so good to take a few minutes and make some real dinner last night. Mmmmm spaghetti.
This is an easy recipe from Oh She Glows – Pasta with walnuts, lentils, and red peppers.
The main objective when I was cooking this last night was to put the correct spices in. I don’t know if I told you, but the Sunday before yesterday was a cooking disaster. It was the day of my accounting midterm and I was particularly tired on that day. We were having mexican casserole for dinner and I added curry powder instead of cumin. OY! I got it all right last night, thank goodness.
Alright oyster let’s do this.
Wimbledon fan? Have you ever screwed up your spices in a dish?

YEAH WIMBLEDON!!!! And hip hip horray for no more tests!!
Yay for you! Not really a Wimbledon fan, I’m more into the soccer Euro Cup right now.
I once topped my dessert with ginger instead of cinnamon. But it was surprisingly delicious. “There are no mistakes, just happy little accidents.” – Who said that?
