But not for running or working out.
The truth is I have no idea how to load songs on to my iPod. Seriously. Yup I can run this web site all by myself but have no skills in the music download area.
Whatever music magically finds itself on to my iPod is what I get to listen to. I realize I shouldn’t be picky but SOMEONE only puts new music on … okay well he’s only done it three times ever. I’ve owned the thing for like five years.
That got off topic, accept my apologies but if you can’t use your public blog to shame your boyfriend what can you use it for?
So the playlist. This is my study playlist:
- Every Twilight soundtrack (seriously so good). Yesterday it was New Moon.
- Oh Land
- Little Miss Sunshine Soundtrack
Bring those albums along to the library for ultimate study satisfaction.
Speaking of studying. I think I’m starting to lose it, like seriously going insane. Heat + statistics is driving me batty. Send help … or popsicles.
My stats exam is Sunday and then I have just over three weeks off before another exam.
Other important summer information:
- I posted a summer makeup tutorial on Blissfully Domestic. Check it out (tips on neon makeup and the best way to apply bronzer.)
- Do you know of any soy-free veggies burgers (that we can buy in Canada.) My friend Kate is looking for a brand and we desperately need burgers for the long weekend don’t we.
Is anyone else going insane in this heat? Any good study songs you can recommend? Soy-free veggie burger?

I’m not too insane with the heat but I swear it’s only because I grew up in 90+ degree weather from June – September and don’t exactly have winter weather below 60 degrees. (I’m from New Orleans). BUT I will say, my friend who is doing an ER residency said they are swamped during the summer because the heat makes people do crazy things. SO I’m going to go ahead and say your reaction to the heat is totally normal
I used to buy these ones all the time last year, but now the website says they are discontinued
… but perhaps the company created something similar for this year? If I see anything, I’ll let you know! http://reviews.presidentschoice.ca/6584/F17725/reviews.htm
You can download music to your iPod by having the iTunes console pulled up, plug your iPod with its cable into your PC or Mac and as long as the device has been set up in your iTunes console, it should synch any new music you have purchased (as long as you are set up to synch automatically). I am assuming that you are using iTunes to purchase songs, movies and TV shows. If I buy music or a song from another seller, you can open the item in iTunes and synch from there. Amazon should work the same but you may have to bring your purchase into iTunes.
I would recommend that you set up the iCloud, but with a five year old iPod that is not possible. Back up your iTunes from time to time because if your Mac dies and you loose your data, you will loose your music too. Apple probably will not help you restore your purchases unless you are on iCloud.
If you are into workouts that you can download to your iPod and iTunes, check out cathe.com. She has some excellent workouts and all are available straight away via digital download.
the twilight sound track is great, isn’t it? Hope you stay cool!
I ALWAYS think justin timberlake is the answer.
no matter the query
Try Sunshine burgers they are soy free, veggie and gluten free. I last bought mine at the Whole Foods in Yorkville. They are pricey, but they are delicious and have a short ingredient list.
YES Erin thank you! I talked to my friend last night and she had actually gotten the same recommendation … I think she’s going to pick some up for the bbq this weekend. Thanks
