Love Them Eggs

I am an egg lover.  Honestly I eat eggs all the time, almost daily.  They’re such an easy and cheap protein source.

Yesterday I finished a stats assignment that was being a thorn in my side and Brad gave me a call to meet him for brunch after his fishing trip. More eggs?  Oh okay :) .  We waited over an hour for our meal and my eggs were burnt as hell.  Grrrrrrrrr.

After eating said burnt eggs I headed over to the library to study for my Finance exam.  And when the library closed I met back up with my friends from brunch for beers.

Yesterday was the perfect example of fitting it all in.  Don’t you love when that works out?  I woke up early and went for a bike ride, then finished my stats assignment, brunch, studying, and then backyard beers.  If every Saturday could have that blend of fun and efficiency I will die a happy lady.

How do you blend your weekends with what you NEED to do and what you WANT to do?

I usually do things in pieces. I do try and get the most important stuff done in the morning, I have better focus and attention. Then afternoons can be for socializing or having fun. Love when it all fits in!

  2. I can’t believe they burnt your eggs! How disappointing. Weekends are always so busy for us, I try to get up early to get my “need to dos” out of the way and then spend the rest of the day celebrating that I did it. :)

sounds like fun! i love eggs too. been on a poached egg run these days! waking up early on the weekends lets me squeeze in everything.

  5. I can’t imagine life without eggs! I am just as likely to eat them at lunch or dinner as breakfast– nothing beats an omelet for a quick & nutritious dinner on the run.

Are you a fan of hard boiled eggs? If so, look up Alton Brown’s instructions for hard boiling eggs in your oven… it will change your life!

I also eat eggs daily. Its why I couldn’t be vegan anymore.

Yeah I barely have milk and cheese these days. But yogurt and eggs are some of my fav protein sources.
