Chobani Visits Toronto, I Wear A Dress

Big news friends, big news.  I got gussied up like a real girl last night.  My fabulous friends at Chobani came to town for a little yogurt worthy celebration and so I left my yoga pants and sneakers at home for once.

We were at The Fifth Social Club, which by the way is totally swanky and cool.  They  served a bunch of hors d’oeuvres that were all made with Chobani.  My favourite was little pizza crackers with cayenne infused yogurt on top.  Pizza!!!!!!

The crowd was a great mix of old friends, like Claire (she surprised me, she didn’t tell me she was attending!)

And new friends like Megan and Britta.

Here’s the whole group, so many new faces!  I love meeting new bloggers :)

The grand finale was Chobani parfaits for dessert.  We used mason jars, so Pinterest worthy ;)

Uhhhh mine was not so Pinterest worthy :P

I know my East and West coast friends are going to ask this … so I shall give you an update:

Chobani told us that they are working VERY hard at national distribution.

AND this is exciting – they are also working on making sure that the Chobani that is sold in Canada is made from Canadian milk.

MMMMmmmm I’m hungry and it’s breakfast time … pass the CHO!

What kinds of events / outings make you get gussied up?

I take pretty much any excuse to get dressed up. I used to be pretty anti-dresses but now I can’t seem to get enough of them. Everyday it is warm enough – I am in a skirt or dress of some kind…

now… doing my HAIR is a totally different story *wink* – as I wear it up 90% of the time. I take the time to do something with it for nice dinners, weddings, and perhaps an interview of some sort.

    • Morgan @ Life After Bagels says:

I actually do love dresses, because they’re easier than jeans … but still yoga pants rule the world hahaha

I wish I was better with my hair too … the only thing I “make nice” is my makeup

  4. Haha, so Pinterest worthy. In hindsight, I wish I wore a dress! Ohh well, next time :)
I had such a good time, it was so great meeting you! More TO blogger meetups are in our future for SURE!

    • Morgan @ Life After Bagels says:

okay well the truth of the matter is that I kept standing over the vents that were at the side of the terrace at the railing and TWICE my dress blew up past my waste … so you may want to rethink your wish … I’m hoping no one saw, sssshhhh don’t tell

we MUST reconvene again, because honestly I didn’t actually know you were a Toronto blogger!

  5. This looks like so much fun! I want Chobani to come visit me!

Do you know what? Next time I’m not skipping out on Chobani’s invite just because I’m an hour away. I’m going to ask for a few hours off work so I can drive there to have fun with you all. Still sad I missed out lol :( AHHH.

  8. Ali Mc says:

  9. Looks like a lot of fun. Recently it’s going out with friends, but that is rare. Went to dinner yesterday in running shorts. 10 years ago I would have been pointing and laughing at me. How times have changed.

  10. Britta says:

Amazing time last night!! I think we’re all having CHO for breaky this morning – it’ll give me energy to search for that red bike :D I plan on searching through your blog to find Jason Bourne.. there’s gotta be a pic I am sure!

    • Morgan @ Life After Bagels says:

  17. I love greek yogurt, but I am partial to Fage because it is low carb and contains live cultures (unlike yogurts that are simply “made with” live cultures). Looks like a fun event!

  18. Came across your blog today and thanks to this post, I have now discovered a little group of bloggers somewhat close to home!! Yay! (you now have a new follower btw) Thanks to having to work in Peterborough last Wednesday, I sadly had to miss this CHO event. (although I am LOVING the samples the sent me hehe) Looks like it was a fun time!
