Last night I got to visit with two of my newer bloggie friends: Krysten and Robyn. Krysten is recovering from her surgery so Robyn and I went over to her house to take her out for a walk. It was wonderful to catch up with these fabulous ladies. Krysten’s dog is honestly the cutest funniest thing in the entire world!
Other things I’m liking lately include veggies, veggies in the pan. There’s something about that smell. OH. so. fragrant.
Earlier in the week I had stir fry for dinner.
There was brown rice at the bottom and what you see is broccoli, bell peppers, green beans, carrots, baked tofu and a drizzle of plum sauce. MMMmmmm
Yesterday I wanted more veggies in the pan for lunch. I simmered some bell pepper and green onion in a pan then added three eggs. Once cooked I stirred in a bit of cheddar cheese and topped with a tablespoon of salsa.
Hollllaaaaa!
What veggies do you think are the MOST fragrant in the pan?

I like the smell of peppers!
me too – I even like the smell of raw peppers, it’s one of my fav veggies I could just sniff it all day
uhhh is that weird?
I love, love, love the smell of sauteed spinach and garlic. I also love the taste of it with some feta sprinkled over top. Put it on a pizza and I will marry you. Dang…now I’m hungry…
did somebody say pizza?!?!?!
funny I LOVE spinach raw, hate it cooked
Is it weird that I like the smell of brussels sprouts? I know people think they smell awful, but I love it.
yeah dude – that IS weird, they stink
I love the smell of roasting vegetables, YUMMM!
Garlic, though isn’t garlic technically an herb? I don’t know, but I grow it in the backyard. I grow most of my veggies, so I love the smell of anything that I grew myself!! And Thyme and Rosemary. I make a lot of omelettes with Swiss chard, bok choy and broccoli; smells just fine to me!
Hollaaa! haha..just wanted to say that too.
I love the smell of butternut squash in the pan! Although that may just be because it tastes so good once it’s out of the pan… You know, some kind of subconscious connection or whatnot.
