Oh nelly. I’ve got a paper due today that’s not done and another due tomorrow. Extreme. Crazy. Writing. Mode.
Frantic may be an appropriate word for today. I stayed up as late as I could last night but my brain started turning to mush. Can’t write a paper when your brain is mush can you? Nope.
Today it’s short and sweet but I just wanted to wish you a GREAT morning. I hope your day started as delicious as mine did.
That’s a breakfast of champions for you:
- vanilla yogurt
- plain greek yogurt
- strawberries
- blueberries
- raw oats
Do you eat raw oats ever? With milk or yogurt, or another way I haven’t thought of?

Use Bananas Cantelop , Watermelon . For fun.
I definitely thought you were going to say something about Leitchee berries
Raw oats are delicious! I like to mix them with plain yogurt, fresh or frozen fruit (blue berries, bananas, apples), dried fruit (raisins, cranberries), chopped nuts, and some jam or maple syrup. Very often, I also add a dash of cinnamon. Everything’s better with cinnamon! Usually, I let the whole mix sit for a while, so that the oats get a little softer.
In Germany, packaged mixes of raw oats, dried fruits, nuts, optional chocolate chunks, corn flakes, etc. are very popular. It’s called ‘muesli’, is available in many different variations, and is usually eaten with milk or yogurt as a quick, filling breakfast. It’s a lot like granola, but in most cases raw and without added sugar and oil.
oh yeah we definitely have muesli too, but now that I think about it the word’s not used THAT much
I haven’t had raw oats but man that breakfast looks delicious!
raw oats AKA the lazy woman’s breakfast
I have a huge test tomorrow morning…I feel your pain!
Ah Joss I was about to write good luck, but you’re probably writing your test right now!!! soooooo how’d it go? bet you rocked it
Finishing papers at the last minute is so stressful. Last semester I decided I didn’t like the entire first half of one I had written, and redid it the night before it was due. Nearly made myself crazy with that one.
yes I recall that very circumstance
