Fundraiser: For Susan And The Moncton Hospital

Susan, this french toast is for you … just to remind you that I am expecting something along the lines of a shoe dipped in egg at some point soon ;)

(Actually Brad treated me to this delicious breakfast on Saturday morning, I can’t take credit for making it!)

Back to Susan, today is her day.  Today is the day that my ENTIRE blogging community of bloggers, readers, and brands come together to raise as much money for Susan’s medical bills (with the remainder being donated to the Moncton Hospital).  Because cancer sucks, and Susan should focus on getting better, not on how to pay for her treatments.

  • At 8am this morning, Janetha will make the auction live at this link.
  • There are well over 200 items to bid on, most start at $10.
  • Each item has a different closing time to avoid a site crash.
  • If Janetha’s site does crash then Plan B is to wait it out and if need be the closing times will be re-posted.  I’ll be posting updates throughout the day with any news you might need so follow me on Twitter @LifeAfterBagels or Like Life After Bagels on Facebook … and you can follow Janetha on Twitter @Janeeetha
  • Tweet with Susan @BalanceSusan and Katy Widrick @kwidrick from 1pm to 2pm ET for a special “q and a” at the hashtag #TGFA

I hope that you will all head on over to bid on something.  For my Canadian friends there will be a specific category for auction items that will ship to Canada.  And to everyone that has commented over at Susan’s blog with your well wishes, or just thought of her over the last 4 1/2 weeks I just want to say thank you.
