Ahhhhh yes for the ear, thank you for the very helpful picture.
I do in fact have an ear infection. And as Jobin said “just in time for the long weekend.” Yeah the long weekend which is also Brad’s birthday extravaganza weekend. I’m not in the most horrible pain but I am definitely feeling a little off. I’m having trouble hearing from my right ear and I am horribly off balance which is making me dizzy. Booooooo
Having to take the morning to go down to the clinic yesterday has put me very behind in my tasks (work, homework, freelance) for the week. But this was a definite reminder that I shouldn’t be packing my week THAT full after all.
This morning I woke up and had my hot lemon water while stretching and meditating. I chose the three things that were the most important that I get done today and will be starting my day with those:
- some “secret” work for Brad’s birthday
- research for a report that I won’t have time after today to complete
- the rest of the office hours I have to put in for my real job this week
I’m also going to be hitting up the gym, but can only do a gentle workout so I’m going to get on the stationary bike and some planks.
What do you do when your schedule gets thrown a curveball?

eesh – feel better soon, morgan! yea, bad timing with the long weekend almost here!
great plan to pick three important tasks and do them as the priority.
when i get a curveball tossed at me…i don’t deal well, initially (just telling the truth! – i’m a plan-ahead type!). then i write down what the priorities are, and think of how and where to shuffle the other tasks. if we only had more hours in the day, eh!
So sorry to hear about your poor ear! Get well soon!
I don’t have a plan for situations like that. I just try to do what I can and cut myself some slack. That’s all. Oh, and I get my BF to take good care of me, by moaning and suffering visibly. Hehe.
That is too bad about your ear
I am a very schedule oriented person, so if my schedule gets thrown off I have to pull out a notebook and reorganize my priorities for the day.
Feel better soon girlfriend!
So, I wonder if the drops are for your ears? LOL! Hope you get to feeling better soon. Ear infection are the pits
UGH!! I had an ear infection last fall and it was HORRIBLE. It’s so much worse as you get older. It took about 3 weeks for my hearing to return to normal (and about 48 hours for the pain to subside). It was VERY frustrating!
Hope you get better soon – and enjoy your long weekend regardless!
Ugh, ear infections stink! Feel better!!
xo
Morgan! An ear infection…yuck…painful. I went on an antibiotic and nipped it it fast. As an elementary teacher, I’m prone to everything!! Hope you’re getting better. I am recuperating from FOOD POISONING!
