My tagline isn’t “where hungry girl meets healthy girl” for no reason. I like to eat. Food. Obviously
At my old job, there was a constant stream of food at my desk. Every time I was in my office, I was eating. Now that I’m a student I’m gobbling down snacks all during class. It really is a healthy habit. I’m not going to get all medical here – but I know for me, it keeps all my body levels balanced, instead of dipping.
On average I eat 4-5 meals a day plus 2-3 snacks. Here are the meals I ate yesterday (minus the smoothie that I started the day with, check yesterday’s post for the smoothie recipe.)
Meal 2: egg on pumpernickel toast.
Meal 3: Ontario sheep milk feta and pumpernickel toast and a sliced orange pepper.
Meal 4: Whole wheat pancakes with plain yogurt, diced pair, and Saskatoon berry syrup.
Plus, I ate three snacks yesterday.
Do you eat more meals and more often, or only the three traditional meals? Does it matter on the day (ie exercise, schedule, etc)?
