Alrighty ladies and gentlemen. I’m up at the crack of dawn. Oh no wait it’s still dark out. Okay I am up with the early bird and getting the worm or something of that nature and I’m leaving for Vegas.
Options of things to do on the plane:
- watch movies (I love you Air Canada)
- pray for wifi and answer one billion emails
- sleeeeeeeeeeep
This was my living room last night at 11pm still. Yup. Even though I said I was going to be in bed by 9pm I was not. I was still awake and packing. But look how gosh darn organized I am.
This is vacation blankie. Vacation blankie comes out up to one week before we go anywhere so I can start packing. This month vacation blankie has really just been sitting there the whole time. I have been living out of a suitcase all month.
Alright enough about me. On to less tired subjects . . .
NICHOLE!!!!! from Live For The Run. I got quite a lot of success story tweets and emails about time management and organization in the last week. It’s truly awesome to hear from all of you. Nichole must be after my own heart because she posted this delightful photo of herself with not one, but two to-do lists on her blog last week.
A single tear is rolling down my cheek. Oh what a girl! (Okay okay there’s no tear, but c’mon it’s 5 am people on a Sunday, indulge my dramatics for a few minutes.)
Here’s what she said about her successes: “Per your request is my crazy to-do list photo, don’t judge, lol. I have two! I have one for work, one for personal. It’s honestly been awesome. I am still figuring out a few things here and there, but overall it’s keeping me on task and helped me get an awesome project done for a client this week that I had been putting off for ages. I definitely feel energized to stay on task, because it was such an eye opener to have priorities be a part of healthy living – duh! If I could have only won a fancy notebook, but alas I’ll schlep out to the store and grab one—something for my to do list, lol.”
Yay for Nichole
I would love to hear more stories. Comment, tweet, or email me. If you’ve emailed me questions this week, your replies are a coming my friend do not worry.

I use Microsoft Outlook Calendar for EVERYTHING. Since my email is up all day at work and usually at home too, it helps keep me organized. I even schedule in time to focus and breath at work
It notifies everyone that I am busy and sometimes you have to schedule that break for yourself.
Have fun in Vegas! Tomorrow the girls start school and I am starting a new path of old school organization. I think I need those to do lists!
I always choose sleep when it comes to travel options. I never get enough of it and I usually especially don’t on vacation so on my way TO the vacation I get in all that I can! I’m one of those lucky people who can sleep anywhere.
Have an awesome trip to Vegas!
Now who’s shedding a tear?
lol Wow, this is great, thank YOU for being such an inspiration.
Do I need a vacation blankie now?!?! Have fun in Vegas! Woohoo…
