Blogher Teaser

Today I only have a Blogher teaser for you.  Unfortunately my flight had some serious problems yesterday and the five minutes it is supposed to take to fly home from NYC turned into over nine hours.  I really wanted take the proper time to sit down and go through what I learned, what inspired me, what resources I gained, and share that will all of you.  So you will have to wait one more day for the formal recap and today you will get more silly NYC pictures.

It appears I was only taking pictures of my breakfasts while I was at Blogher.  It was like I turned into a bad blogger and forgot to whip out my camera at every meal.  Again, the oatmeal breakfast was delish!  They did a great job of having many different food options for breakfast and lunch.

Here is that obligatory Times Square photo.

Okay now this one really is a silly one.  I was trying to recreate a photo that our friends shared with us the night before.  But instead Brad got me looking like a Blogher angel of some sort.  Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh :)

When Blogher was good and done, we had a couple hours on Sunday morning to do with as we pleased before we had to make it to the airport.  We wanted to have brunch at a place called Good Enough To Eat.  There was quite the lineup.  See Brad in the back with his hands up?

I had to get myself some hydration to tide me over.  Actually while we were seated on the patio and eating, a girl fainted in line.

Look at this spread.  It was heaven, heaven on a patio I tell ya.  Brad rated it as his best breakfast ever.  I mean that’s a pretty intense statement and I might have to agree.  The home fries killed me they were so good.  My favourite part was the biscuits and strawberry butter.

Then we did what everyone does in NYC, walk a billion blocks around the city.  We passed this lovely farmers market with tonnes of fresh produce, flowers, meat, eggs, even local wine.

Brad finally spotted a bookstore for me where I could go in and buy my Operation Beautiful book.

This might have been my last smile of the day.  Because that’s when the trip home from hell started.  But alas we are at home, for four lovely days.  We have to go back to work for four days but we will definitely be getting some sleep because NYC made us quite quite tired.

Have a great Monday . . . and let me share this with you.  Many many years ago I was at a sales presentation and a wonderful statement was shared with me.  I really was thinking of this on the way home last night while trying to process what the weekend at Blogher meant to me.  Hope this inspires your week:

Every day is a new day, and you can reinvent yourself every single day!

Hey girlie! I figured out your RSS feed issue. Go to feedburner and sign up. When it asks for your feed address, give it this http://www.lifeafterbagels.com/blog/?feed=rss2

Then they will give you a new address to use – which you can add to your site for people to subscribe! Email me if you need help, but I remember you mentioned at BlogHer you were trying to figure it out! :)
