This afternoon protests at the G20 Summit turned violent.

It was insane down there and I wasn’t even at Queens Park
Its a frigin shame, we have the right to a “peaceful protest” which occoured but all anyone will see is the idiots who took it to a violent level

I was thinking of you when I saw all this on the news. Its horrible. Its like the “protests” that happened here during the Olympics. People like that are an embarrassment.
I am really sorry about that. I am from the states, but it made news here, of course. People can be very aggressive, when it comes to something they believe in. Which is okay, but there needs to be a line. I think when such large groups of people with similar agendas come together, a mob mentality takes over. People feed off each other, whether it’s negative or positive energy. Sometimes I wonder if the right to assembly is really a good idea…
